How is billyGO different from other plumbing companies that have online scheduling?

With billyGO you actually schedule your APPointment; time, not just the date or a four-hour window in which your service call is supposed to happen. billyGO features a one-hour time window, not half a day. For example, if you schedule an APPointment™ for 11 a.m. our plumber will be there by 11:59 or we start deducting from the price of your service call for being late.

How does billyGO figure prices for plumbing jobs?

billyGO saves you money with low prices due to the highly automated processes built into the billyGO Online Scheduler. We charge a set price for each type of procedure. Our more than 25 years of experience enables us to accurately determine how long each job should require. This information is built into the billyGO Online Scheduler; the plumber cannot change the rates. You will know in advance what the final bill will be, even if it takes longer than expected. Our plumbers are compensated based on overall performance, which includes on-time arrival.

Do your plumbers and techs work on commission?

No, billyGO employees are paid hourly. When our plumbers recommend a new or replacement product it is because they consider that the best solution to your problem. We will not sell you things you don’t need. We designed our compensation plan to attract top professionals who do the job right the first time, who provide exceptional customer satisfaction with honesty and integrity.

Are billyGO plumbers employees or contractors?

Unlike platform services that provide leads to individual contractors, billyGO is a DFW-based, family-owned business with our own employees. Everyone we send to your home or business wears a billyGO uniform and is our employee. Our hiring standards are high. We insist on strong people skills and technical skills. All employees receive background checks and are drug screened. As added assurance, the billyGO Online Scheduler provides the name and photo of the technician assigned your service APPointment™.

How do you communicate with your techs?

All routine communication between the office and techs in the field is handled via the billyGO Online Scheduler. This saves time because no one has to wait on hold or get involved in extraneous conversation. If a plumber encounters a situation for which he would like a second opinion or recommendation, the app provides that capability. Of course, they also may use their smart phones to make calls, if necessary. By keeping communication streamlined and focused on essentials we can concentrate on doing the job instead of talking about it.

Why don’t you have a phone number?

We do have a phone number, but all scheduling is accomplished with the billyGO Online Scheduler to save time and reduce the possibility of human error. You indicate the problem using the app, provide your location and contact information and receive a confirmation message from billyGO, all in less time than you would spend arranging for service by phone. No more being placed on hold, no danger of miscommunication. It’s about time – your time.

Will I ever be able to talk with anyone in management at billyGO?

Certainly. We do not feature our phone number in our marketing because our app-centric business model was designed to bring a new level of efficiency to the home service industry. You get prompt, professional service at the time you choose. Our phone number is published in online directories, but all scheduling is done with the billyGO Online Scheduler. How do I get started with billyGO?

What forms of payment do you accept?

billyGO accepts credit and debit cards, personal or business checks, and cash. We also offer 0% financing with approved credit.

Are you insured?

billyGO is fully insured. If we cause any damage while working at your home or business, we will make it right, with no charge to you for any corrective work, parts or products.

Are your plumbers licensed?

All billyGO plumbers are licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners as tradesman, journeyman or master plumbers. We also train apprentice plumbers, who work only with licensed plumbers, and are governed by the same state board. Furthermore, all billyGO plumbers and technicians undergo mandatory background checks and drug testing.

Will you leave a mess in my house for me to clean up?

We consider it an honor to be invited into your home or business and we will always treat it with the respect you expect from any guest. Our plumbers wear disposable shoe covers to ensure they do not track in dirt or debris from outside. They take pride in leaving things as they found them, so you will not be inconvenienced.

What happens if you don’t have the right parts on your truck to fix my problem?

One of the things that helps billyGO attract top talent is our in-house logistics service. We deliver parts directly to our technicians as they need them. If a plumber needs non-stock items or replacement products while at your home or business the billyGO logistics team will deliver to the site so work can continue without extra interruption.

Do you remove things such as old water heaters that you replace?

Yes. Our logistics team delivers new parts and removes old ones for recycling.
