Parks in Grapevine

Parks have a special way of enabling us to wind off after a long day. Grapevine, TX, is not short of parks that it offers its guests and residents alike. Below are some of our top picks.

Dove Park

This is a Low-key community recreation space with a colorful, handicapped-accessible playground, pool & more. It also has a swimming pool located in the park. Basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball courts are located to the north of the waterpark. Casey’s Clubhouse is positioned in the southeast corner of the park. Other amenities include an 8’ wide x .5 mile concrete walking trail, spray ground, 3 pavilions, and permanent restrooms.

Oak Grove Park

It is a Lakefront park featuring paved trails, picnic tables & sports fields, plus a marina & fishing pond. The park has a ball field, soccer and softball complex The Softball Complex Whether it’s day or night, the well-lit softball field at Oak Grove Park is ready for your toughest pitches. The park is conveniently located close to the many other attractions that Oak Grove Park has to offer, you’ll find the Oak Grove Soccer Fields. The Ballfield Complex is a clean, well-lit, multi-field regional complex, and a great place to bring the whole family.

Parr Park Spray ground

This is roughly a 31-acre park featuring a few picnic tables, a pavilion & multipurpose athletic fields. The playground structures are extensive and offer appropriate activities for hesitant toddlers and wild middle-schoolers alike, and kids who love climbing will instantly adore the enormous webs of rope that really test their limits.

Residents can also enjoy trail running, walking their furry friends, playing a little flag football, taking photos, enjoying a neighborhood or family picnic, playing kickball, basketball, exercising at the outdoor fitness area, or looking for wildlife. The park links up to the Bear Creek trail system so a hike is always an option. The Parr Park Rotary Pavilion is available for RENT for special events and picnic tables are scattered throughout the park for everyday al fresco dining. There is a spray ground for cooling off in the summertime.

Meadowmere Park

This is a Lakeside recreation area with beaches & a swimming zone, boat ramp & docks, camping & a playground. There are 288 acres to explore of sparkling water, sandy beaches, and green grassy expanses. You can rent kayaks, standup paddleboards from DFW Surf for floating out onto the sparkling water of the lake.
It is home to the largest floating aqua park obstacle course in Texas. Located on Grapevine Lake, the enormous floating playground is the best way to cool off this summer. The fire pits and grills are perfect for cookouts. There is a designated beach just for swimming and relaxing in the cool of the lake. The whole family can a playground, and shaded picnic tables. Campers can choose to stay overnight on a beautiful lakeside primitive campsite complete with picnic tables and fire rings, and you’re free to bring your pets along too.
