- 2+ years of residential HVAC experience.
- Current HVAC license and certification.
- Valid TX driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and customer service capabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to code.
- Must have working knowledge and ability to be in compliance with all state and federal HVAC codes.
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders, and tunnels.
- Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- BillyGO provides emergency HVAC service and may operate on weekends and evenings on rotation.
- Serve your neighbors and community by successfully maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and offering the best HVAC solutions to homeowners.
- Take care of the customer by keeping them informed of the work you are doing, when it will be done, and how it will be accomplished.
- Attend team meetings and training to continually improve skills and technical abilities.
- Keep company vehicle clean, well maintained, and stocked with required equipment and inventory for maximum efficiency.
- Use safe work practices, follow safety procedures, and abide by manufacturer guidelines for all equipment, tools and supplies.
- Calibrate, replace or repair controls, switches, thermostats, gauges, pumps, condensers or any other component of an HVAC system.
- Repair or install ductwork.
- Repair, install, replace or clean refrigerant lines, vents, fans, etc. when appropriate.
- Comply with all local, state and federal building codes.
- Educate the customer on the work that was completed, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
